Robert’s associate Lynda Anderson-Coe complements Robert’s experience and knowledge through more than 21 years as Head mistress of a leading girls’ independent school in the north of England. Lynda studied at Leeds University gaining an Honours degree in Physics and Education, as well as a Master’s Degree in Education.  She published a paper in association with Dr Rosalind Driver entitled The Understanding of the Concept of Mechanical Work.  Lynda was an active member of The Girls’ Schools Association, a member of the Independent Schools’ Council and served on regional and national committees before being elected to serve as President of the Girls’ Schools Association in 2000.  This national role provided the opportunity for Lynda to meet many leading figures in the field of education, and to contribute to debate at a time of great change.  Lynda also served as a magistrate for more than 10 years.

Before her early retirement, she researched Study Skills to gain a better understanding of the way in which pupils learn and understand and was responsible for the delivery of several workshops on this topic.  By varying the method of instruction, all students can be helped to learn.

Her experience both in the classroom and as a busy Chief Executive stands her in good stead to understand the factors leading to stress in the workplace.  It is becoming increasingly important for employers to demonstrate that the working environment they provide is safe, not just in terms of physical safety but also mental and emotional safety.

Lynda is also a budding author with five novels complete and an e-book which has already achieved international sales in the US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand as well as the UK. Details of her e-book can be found on www.hismidlife-yourcrisis.com
